Victoria Beckham joined Twitter just in time!
"So honoured to be nominated for designer brand of the year from the British Fashion Council!!!!in love and light x VB x," the popster turned style icon tweeted this afternoon.
Competing against Beckham's collection, which is shown in New York but manufactuerd in London, for the illustrious honor are fellow U.K. heavyweights Mulberry, Burberry and Pringle.
To put her achievement into perspective, Beckham's label is two years—or four seasons—old, while Burberry has been around since 1856, Pringle since 1951.
The British Fashion Awards will be handed out Dec. 7. Among the other names that stand out is Transformers 3 newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whitely, a nominee for Model of the Year.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has spawned a ray of sunshine.
Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson, wacky sitcom costars and real life husband and wife, have welcomed their first child together, E! News confirmed today.
Son Axel Lee McElhenney was born at the couple's California home Wednesday at 12:52 p.m., the proud new parents said in a statement.
Appropriately enough, Olson went into labor Tuesday night at the Dodgers-Phillies game.

Paris Hilton can continue to ignore the rumors, but she probably has to pay attention to the judge.
A Miami judge has sided with a film distributor that sued Hilton in 2008, ruling Thursday that the heiress/actress (heirtress?) did not fulfill her promotional obligations concerning the 2006 straight-to-DVD comedy Pledge This! and probably owes the plaintiff some money.

The former first daughter of Alaska just joined her partner Mark Ballas at a studio to begin rehearsing for the upcoming battle in the ballroom.
What's more, the sight of Bristol happily hoofing it may just put to rest some of the speculation that the 19-year-old has been a bit difficult when it comes to preparing for the competition.
Either way, we can't wait to tune in!

The former Spice Girl has finally joined Twitter.
"There have been so many people claiming to tweet as me I thought it was time for me to 'tweet up,' " she tells me.
The launch of @vbfashionweek coincides with New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, where she'll unveil her spring collection on Sept. 12. "I thought it would fun for people to see firsthand an inside look at my experiences during Fashion Week," Beckham says.
