The cameras can't catch everything at the 2017 Golden Globes, and that's where E! News steps in.

Right from the start, nominees, presenters and attendees got down to the business of mixing and mingling. From catching up with old pals, reuniting with former co-stars and fangirling (or fanboying) over their favorite celebrities, the annual telecast wasn't short of unforgettable moments.

There's no question that the night belongs to the lucky winners and the talented actors and actresses who brought such incredible stories to life, but a little behind the scenes action never hurt, right?! Read on for everything you didn't see, but totally wish you did, below:

Supportive Buddies: After Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" lost the Golden Globe for Best Original Song to "City of Stars" from La La Land, he was seen conversing with Pharrell Williams outside of the Beverly Hilton ballroom. The two appeared deep in conversation and spoke in hushed tones.

VIP's Only: It pays to be Hollywood's golden coupleBlake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are so A-list that they were allowed to skip the line of fellow celebrities to get their picture taken before anyone else.

Triple Threat: Talk about a nostalgic moment! The Help castmates Emma StoneJessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer reunited inside the ballroom with a hug. Jessica spotted Emma from her seat before running over to the La La Land and Hidden Figures stars for the special gathering.

Classic Chrissy: When Chrissy Teigen and John Legend mastered the art of "red carpet relaxation" by literally sitting down during the middle of their interview with E! News, Blake Lively thought it was so funny that she whipped out her phone (before asking permission, of course) and snapped a picture of the couple.

Quitting Tinseltown?: Is Jessica Chastain putting her acting career on hold? Maybe so, since she told Tom Hiddleston backstage, "I'm overworked. I'm only going to do one film this year... OK I gotta get back!"

No. 1 Fan: The Stranger Things kids attended their very first Golden Globes this evening, and they couldn't be more excited to meet none other than Anna Kendrick. The co-stars ran up to the Pitch Perfect star with huge smiles on their faces, and more than just a couple Kodak worthy moments ensued.

Tight Squeeze: Expectant mama Natalie Portman had a tough time getting past the tightly-packed tables. At one point, she jokingly shoved Chris Hemsworth and told him, "Get out of the way, buddy." Not to worry, though. The Jackie star got some love from Amy Adams, who was seen rubbing her baby bump.

Word Vomit: Mr. Robot star Rami Malek accidentally introduced his sister to a fellow partygoer as his... wait for it... wife! He quickly corrected himself, saying, "My wife? Oh my god, this is my sister!" Whoops.

Night of NetworkingJonah Hill is a major fan of Moonlight director Barry Jenkins. So much so that he told him, "If you need someone to sweep sand for you, I'll PA for you anytime." LOL.

Bathroom BreakClaire Foy made a quick exit for the restrooms during a commercial break, as an Outlander star called out for her. No confirmation if she ever made it to the restroom, but she did get back to her seat in time to accept her Best Actress in a TV Drama award. Congrats, Claire!

Not-So Model BehaviorHeidi Klum was seen clearing her throat by ahem, hocking a loogie while freshening up in the restroom. The iconic supermodel then turned to her friend and happily explained, "I taught my kids how to do that!"

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot: As anticipation and temperatures began to rise inside the ballroom, Sofia Vergara hoped to cool off by fanning herself with a Golden Globes ticket. Hey, whatever works.

Friends in High Places: After Evan Rachel Wood lost to Claire Foy, the Westworld star made an exit for the patio. She was seen chatting with co-star Thandie Newton and the duo shared a warm embrace.

When Hunger Strikes: Award shows are long and for celebs attending, sometimes understandably tedious. The perfect cure? Food, of course! Andrew Garfield's friend yelled at the actor, "Can you order a pizza, please?!"And speaking of hungry stars, Ryan Gosling was spotted munching on a bag of potato chips while outside the press room.

Star Sightings: When Brad Pitt made his surprise appearance onstage, Game of Thrones co-stars and IRL besties Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams completely freaked. "It's Brad Pitt. It's Brad Pitt," Sophie exclaimed while Maisie followed up, "We love Brad!"

No Sore Losers Here: Sure, Natalie Portman didn't take home the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama award for Jackie, but that doesn't mean she's throwing shade at Isabelle Huppert. The actress broke out into a round of applause as she ascended upon the stage.

Twinning: In their coordinating gold ensembles, Sofia Vergara and Priyanka Chopra were a match made in Golden Globes heaven. Sofia offered to snap a photo of a group of partygoers, but the Quantico actress happily offered to step in and take the picture so Sofia could join her friends.

Boys' Night Out: Brother Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were certainly in the mood to celebrate Casey Affleck's big win, as they were overhead chatting about which after-party to hit first.
