Tyga has remained tight-lipped about his breakup with Kylie Jenner—until now.

Less than two months after the former pair called it quits for the second time, the "Rack City" rapper sat down for a radio interview with Big Boy TV to share his side of the story, particularly why he currently feels better without a leading lady.

"I'm single. I'm enjoying life," he declared, simultaneously refuting rumors that he is dating lingerie model Demi Rose

The rapper, who recently appeared in his first movie Barbershop: The Next Cut and has a reality series on MTV, claims his highly public relationship with the reality star concealed his own abilities.

"Being in a very public relationship like that, it's hard for other people to see you differently," he said. "It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things I worked hard for."

While Tyga said the breakup was mutual and that he and Kylie are still friends, a source told E! News Jenner is "really into" rapper PartyNextDoor and "it's taken her mind completely off Tyga." A second source told E! that the split had not "been easy, but she's just keeping busy."

While the former couple may be off right now, the "Stimulated" rapper thinks a future reunion is possible. "Later on in life, maybe we might come back, but right now I want to focus on what I need to do," he admitted.

In addition to discussing Kylie, Tyga also answered some questions about his former fiancee Blac Chyna, with whom he shares 3-year-old son King Cairo. Chyna and Kylie's brother, Rob Kardashian, got engaged in April and announced in May that they are expecting their first child together. Though the public expects drama between Tyga and his son's mother, whatever she decides to do is her business, according to the rapper.

"People gotta let her move on," he said. "It's not my life anymore. When you're not with that person, whatever that person does after you—that's their life and that's their decision. That's their bed. They gotta lay in."

For Tyga, as long as he knows who is around his son, it doesn't seem to matter who Chyna spends her life with. "That's life. That's love," he added. "People can decide to love who they want and start life with whoever they want."
