Eva Mendes Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2 With Ryan Gosling

Hey girl, it's a Hollywood baby boom!

Eva Mendes, 42, and longtime partner Ryan Gosling, 35, are expecting their second child, a source told E! News Thursday, adding that the actress is in her second trimester. The couple has not commented.

Mendes and Gosling are parents to daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling, who is 1 and a half years old. They have long kept their personal lives mostly private and have not yet shared a photo of their little girl publicly.

Us Weekly, which first reported news of Mendes' current pregnancy, reported the actress was spotted hiding her growing baby bump during a photo shoot in Los Angeles in February. Mendes has not been photographed at a celebrity party or other event since December.

In March, Mendes, Gosling and their daughter celebrated her 42nd birthday at Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs, California vacation home—now that's a babymoon!

Mendes opened up about family life in an interview with NBC's Today show in October. When asked if Gosling helped out with changing diapers and taking care of Esmeralda, she answered: "That's a given these days; I don't think that's a plus anymore. It better not be, fathers out there."

"Ryan is very hands on," a source had told E! News after the couple's daughter was born. "Changes diapers, rocks [Esmeralda] to sleep—they gave her her first bath together and videotaped the whole thing."

News about Mendes' pregnancy comes hours after E! News learned Blake Lively, 28, and Ryan Reynolds, 39, are expecting their second child. The two have not commented.

Earlier this week, Megan Fox, 29, showcased a surprise baby bump at CinemaCon 2016 and E! News learned she is expecting her third child with ex Brian Austin Green, 42.

Ellie Kemper, star of Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, also revealed recently that she is pregnant, with her and husband Michael Koman's first child.

There's a supermodel baby boom as well—Chrissy Teigen, 30, and Victoria's Secret Angels Behati Prinsloo, 26, and Candice Swanepoel, 27, are all expecting their first babies.
