Today marks the end of an era and the start of a new one for Playboy magazine.

The iconic publication just unveiled its first-ever non-nude issue in its 62-year history...and guess what? It's just as steamy as it ever was.

The completely remodeled March 2016 issue features social media star, Sarah McDaniel, who has become one of the most popular models to follow on Instagram and Snapchat. In fact, the issue gives readers the feel of what it's like to be on the receiving end of one of her sexy Snap stories.

McDaniel describes the feeling of the new issue of Playboy perfectly: "The idea was to look at me from a boyfriend's perspective."

The pictorial portrays the model— who has two different-colored eyes, a condition known as heterochromia irdum—posing in different, intimate positions in her bed: wearing a towel with wet hair, showing off her booty while wearing a thong under an over-sized sleep shirt and rolling around in her sheets.

The cover, on the other hand, shows her posing in a pair of striped underwear with a cropped, white tank and no bra, alluding to her Snapchat with a caption across the photo that reads, "heyyy ;)".

Meanwhile, Playboy made waves by announcing the remodel of the publication in October 2015, revealing it would be ending its nude pictorials all together.

"Playboy will continue to publish sexy, seductive pictorials of the world's most beautiful women, including its iconic Playmates, all shot by some of today's most renowned photographers," the publication said in a statement about the change. "The magazine will also remain committed to its award-winning mix of long-form journalism, interviews and fiction."

Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders says the change just made sense with the modern technology there is today. "That battle has been fought and won," he told The New York Times at the time. "You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free and so it's just passé at this juncture."

To mark the end of the chapter, Playboy chose none other than Pamela Anderson to model as their last naked Playmate.
