E! News has confirmed that TLC reality star Jessa Duggar and fiancé Ben Seewald have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Their ceremony lasted an hour and was just as gorgeous as you'd expect and full of love as each of their families and numerous friends witnessed their union.
The couple celebrated with their families at a rehearsal dinner at the church the night before. In a touching video posted by TLC, Jessa's parents, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, expressed their best wishes for the young couple and also their love for one another.
Jessa and her hubby shared their wedding registry shortly before their big day, which ranged from from $3 ice cube trays to a variety of gift cards to pricier items like a KitchenAid Mixer.
Jessa and Seewald, who both share the same strong Christian values, got engaged in August following an eleven-month courtship, and almost immediately after they began planning their "simple" nuptials.
"We are so blessed to be engaged! God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun!" the couple said in a statement on Aug. 15. "We are thrilled to see what the future holds—especially the wedding bells!"
This is the second marriage for the Duggar family this year. Older sister Jill Duggar tied the knot with Derick Dillard in June and less than two months after saying "I do," they announced that they are expecting their first child.
Jessa and Jill's older brother Josh Duggar, 26, the eldest child, has been married to his wife Anna since 2008. They are parents to three children.
Jessa's fiancé is the oldest among seven siblings.
"Ben's a great guy," Jim Bob says in TLC's video. "He's got a heart for the Lord, Jessa's got a heart for the Lord and it won't be too long, we'll have some more grandkids!"
