Jenny wasn't the only celebrity on her block!

In a new interview with Yahoo, Kerry Washington revealed she actually grew up in the Bronx with Jennifer Lopez. The pals also went to the same local Boys & Girls Club together, and young J.Lo even showed Washington some hot dance moves.

"We had this amazing dance teacher, Larry, and Jennifer actually used to substitute teach when Larry wasn't around," the gorgeous Scandal star dished. "You wouldn't know it from my build, but Jennifer taught me how to dance. And I remember when she left the Boys Club because she was leaving New York to go to L.A. to try and make it big and we were all like, ‘Oh my gosh.'"

This isn't the first time Washington has revealed she grew up with a young A-list celeb. Over the summer, she told a story about going to school with Gwyneth Paltrow.

"I was in an a cappella group in high school," Washington dished. "It was a nine-girl a cappella singing group, we called ourselves Triple Trio. And when I was in junior high school I really wanted to be in Triple Trio because there was this really amazing senior named Gwyneth Paltrow and she was president of Triple Trio. So I really wanted to be president of Triple Trio one day. And then I was co-president of Triple Trio one day. My shining honor!"

Talk about learning to sing and dance from the best!
