Chris Brown shared a special moment with model Karrueche Tran, his on-again, off-again girlfriend, at an intimate party celebrating his recent release from jail. Tran, 26, posted on her Instagram page several photos from the bash, including a pic of her and Breezy enjoying a tender kiss.
Brown, who has been on probation since his 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna, had spent 80 days in a Los Angeles jail and was freed on Monday, June 2, after serving a shortened sentence. He was taken into custody in March after getting kicked out of court-mandated rehab. In May, he was sentenced to an additional 131 days behind bars for violating his probation by getting arrested for assault in Washington, D.C., last October. He has denied any wrongdoing in that case, which is still pending.
At his party, which took place at a private residence in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 5, Brown appeared to be healthy and in great spirits, wearing a spotted, camouflage-print button-down shirt and shorts. Tran, sporting a tight, white mini dress, led the singer blindfolded through the home and to the backyard to the guests, who greeted him with cheers. Partygoers included the likes of model Amber Rose, T-Pain and Big Sean.
They also celebrated something else—his birthday. Brown turned 25 on May 5, while he was still behind bars.
"HAPPY BDAY HAPPY HOMECOMING!!! PEACE and POSITIVITY!!! My bro @chrisbrownOfficially," celebrity stylist EJ King, Tran's roommate and one of her best friends, said on his Instagram page, alongside a video of guests singing "Happy Birthday" to Brown, who was presented with a two-tiered cake decorated with a big "X"—the title of his new album.
