Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn's Scandal sex scenes may look super sexy, but they're not exactly glamorous to film.
"Well, if you think about doing a sex scene with 30 overweight men staring at you, it's hot," Goldwyn joked to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live this week.
"The most embarrassing [sex scene] for me was when I had to direct my own sex scene," he continued. "Two episodes ago I directed the show as well as acted in it."
Goldwyn went on to describe the awkward scene in which he has to tell Washington's character Olivia Pope, "This is where I bend you over the table." "It was kind of embarrassing," he laughed.
Goldwyn also revealed that his longtime wife Jane Musky does not watch the show or his steamy sex scenes. "The honest answer is, my wife doesn't watch it," he dished. "She watched the pilot and thought it was great, but yeah...I don't encourage it."
His two daughters are another story.
"My two girls think it's hilarious," Goldwyn said. "Disgusting and hilarious."
