Robert Pattinson Gets Beat Up, Held at Gunpoint in The Rover: First Look!

Kristen Stewart's boyfriend stars alongside Guy Pearce in futuristic crime thriller

Who would dare bloody up the beautiful face of Robert Pattinson?

Guy Pearce, apparently. Fortunately, they're just acting! But this first look from The Rover shows Kristen Stewart's man slumped over, beaten up and held at gunpoint.

Rob's currently shooting the futuristic crime thriller in Australia, and he's certainly not playing a sparkly vampire like his Twilight persona. Just last week, the 26-year-old was spotted with some seriously nasty teeth (obviously fake, fret not) on the Rover set.

In the movie, Rob plays a junior member of a criminal gang. And after he's abandoned, he teams up with Guy's character in pursuit of the bad guys.

Foul teeth and bloody messes aside, we're excited to see Rob kick some butt!
