Rihanna's lawyers are gettin' loud.

The pop-R&B star has sued a real estate company, the property inspector and the former owner of a house she bought in Beverly Hills for $6.9 million, claiming that those involved with the sale failed to inform her that the residence was "laden with construction defects."

And that's no place for a California king bed.

Before escrow closed on the property in 2009, LaRocca Inspection Associates inspected the place and found a number of issues, including cracks in the exterior walls and drainage problems on the roof that could make the house susceptible to water damage, according to the lawsuit.

Rihanna apparently still wanted the house after that, so her camp drew up a request for repairs for the owner, the suit states. Upon second inspection, LaRocca declared the house "serviceable."

Well, according to the singer's attorneys, the house sustained flood damage from a "moderate" January 2010 rainstorm after water pooled on the second-floor balcony and seeped into multiple rooms. A subsequent inspection by an insurance company found similar defects as before.

Rihanna charges that the home's previous own, Heather Rudamin, in no way put a house on the market that was worth $6.9 million and her real estate agent should have known better.

In turn, the songbird is suing Rudamin, Prudential California Realty, LaRocca Inspection, Landmark Design Group (which oversaw the design and remodel of the house in 2007 and 2008), and a couple of agents thereof for professional negligence, fraud, breach of contract and other offenses.

UPDATE: LaRocca Inspection filed a countersuit against Rihanna in January 2011, alleging breach of contract and stating that it's entitled to a portion of any damages Rihanna may eventually collect from LaRocca's codefendants.
