Here's the good news: Someone over at Footloose casting HQ finally had the good sense to remove the revolving door stationed at its entrance. Too bad you've never heard of the guy that made it inside.

Kenny Wormald has been cast—hopefully for the last time—as Ren in the long-gestating remake, replacing former future leads Chace Crawford and Zac Efron in the starring role.

The 25-year-old newcomer, who's certainly credentialed having previously appeared in Centerstage: Turn It Up, the MTV series Dancelife and has put in one tour of duty as a backup hoofer for Justin Timberlake, joins Ryan Seacrest's girlfriend Julianne Hough and new addition Dennis Quaid in the fancy-free remake, which starts shooting in August.

The movie is due out (though we'll believe it when we see it) on April 1, 2011.
