Kourtney Kardashian is no stranger to covering magazines and posing for world-famous photographers.
But in a new photo captured by Brian Bowen Smith, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is stripping down to almost nothing for a unique project. In dimly lit light, the 36-year-old lays down in nothing but a black bracelet as her backside is put on full display.
"Love being a part of @brianbowensmith #metalliclife series," she wrote on Instagram. "Go to vanityfair.com for more images and to read about it. @vanityfair @deregallery."
After receiving positive comments from fans, Kourt later shared a photo with the letters "love" spelled out to her 26 million followers.
For those intrigued about the photo shoot, Vanity Fair explained that the images are part of Smith's "Metallic Life" series that will be on display at the De Re Gallery in Los Angeles from Oct. 23 to Nov. 19. In addition, his images are "unlike any nude photographers you've seen before."
"Printed on metallic paper, and presented with no glass, they emphasize the ‘tantalizing textures of skin,' as Smith puts it," the publication explained. "'Metallic Life' captures the vulnerability and true nature of its subjects—including Kourtney Kardashian—photographed through the exposure of their skin."
As to how the mother-of-three looks so good, it takes a lot of hard work. A source recently revealed to E! News that Kardashian whipped her body back into shape thanks to a routine called the Don-A-Matrix.
In fact, the busy mom "swears" by the program. "We train anywhere from three to five days a week depending on what projects are coming up," her trainer Don Brooks shared with E! News. "[Our workouts last] anywhere from 45 minutes up to an hour."
New episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians air Sunday nights at 8 p.m. only on E!
