Intrigued? You bet!

It's been over a year since we last crossed paths with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) on the silver screen, but in a matter of minutes, the new trailer for the film's sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, has swept us right back into their dark and twisted fantasy world.

Released Tuesday, the clip offers fans of the infamous franchise a new look at what's in store for the second installment of Christian and Ana's romance. The first film ended with a closing elevator door and a heartbroken Ana. With two other movies already in the books, we knew the hot-and-cold couple couldn't stay apart for too much longer—and this trailer is proof of that.

"I want you back," Christian tells Ana. "I had no idea what this was going to become."

Ana has just three request demands: "No rules, no punishments and no more secrets."

The trailer is set to Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love"—though this time, Miguel sings the haunting cover.

The actors reunited off of the silver screen to thanks fans for their social media support after reaching 10 million followers on Facebook. "We can't wait for you to join us in theaters and see it," Dornan said into the camera.

While we don't want to give away too much about the plot of the forthcoming sequel, as can be deduced from the trailer, Ana comes face to face with a crucial person in Christian's life while attending a Masquerade Ball at his mother's house—a meeting that ignites some personal flames (and not the romantic kind).

While the first film was an introduction ito the protagonists' romance and bedroom behavior, the second is packed with new characters and major conflict, including two newcomers to the BDSM-filled world, Kim Basinger and Bella Heathcote—both of whom we get glimpses of in this new trailer.

Basinger will turn heads as the Mrs. Robinson-esque seductress, Elena Lincoln, while Heathcote has taken on the role of Leila Williams, one of Christian's former submissives who is suffering a mental breakdown.

With two exes in the mix, Ana and Christian's dynamic is bound to get a bit messy. After all, as the trailer forebodes, viewers should prepare to "slip into something a shade darker."

While you mull over whatever that cryptic message might mean, mark your calendars—the red room returns to the big screen on Valentine's Day.
