Hollywood's Prius lovers have finally prevailed. The Emmy swag suites that provide spa services and lavish gifts for nominees, presenters and anyone else lucky enough to be invited are "going green" like never before.

In name alone, there is the Main Event "Green" Emmy Lounge (get the luxury facial—the SPCA and Invisible Children's Foundation will benefit); the Green Living Lifestyle Pre-Emmy Eco Lounge & Spa (snag organic beauty and lifestyle goods and help Communities for a Better Environment and Million Trees L.A. organizations); Green with Envy (Hearts on Fire Diamonds provides celebs with environmentally friendly eco-bags to carry out their green goodies); and the SpaRitual: Emmys Eco-Chic (score even more green beauty products from the Body Shop, Organic Fiji and Nature's Gate).

Sure, it may be jumping on the bandwagon, and the greenest thing on display might be the salads offered for lunch—but at least people are trying to bring awareness to environmental issues and helpworthy causes.

After all, not everyone has the time to plant a tree or make an enviro-doc—there are way too many Emmy suites to hit up.

Besides, who can argue with a blowout at Privé salon when it can help support a farmer improve and protect his livelihood? That's what L.A. Confidential is offering at its Official Emmy Ungifting Suite, where instead of gift bags, spa services translate directly into donations to Oxfam.

And in keeping with the big night's overall green theme, the Shrine Auditorium will be powered by renewable solar energy, the red carpet crafted entirely of recycled water bottles and stars transported in alternative-fuel vehicles. (Host Ryan Seacrest will arrive in a Lexus hybrid, America Ferrera in a hydrogen-powered BMW.) All of which will probably increase the already suffocating self-congratulatory tone sevenfold.

But most of all, we can't wait to see how much more green Seacrest can go this Sunday. We're thinking this means fig-leaf attire, but that's not confirmed yet.
