Sorry, Chris Evans: Avri Downey is on Team Iron Man.

Robert Downey Jr. appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday with Captain America: Civil War's Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle and Emily VanCamp. Before the trio joined him on the couch, however, Robert enjoyed some one-on-one time with Jimmy Kimmel. "Would it be fair to say that you take being Iron Man very seriously?" the host asked. In a rare moment of seriousness, he replied, "I don't take myself too seriously. I take that character, Tony Stark, very seriously."

Jimmy then shared a rare photograph of Robert's 17-month-old daughter, who just so happened to be wearing Iron Man's armor. "Clearly, she's made a choice," he said. "She is definitely team Iron Man." Avri didn't need much convincing. "I gave it to her and said, 'Here's a shield and here's a gauntlet. It's up to you,'" Robert said. "And she just naturally gravitated towards [it]."

"You've got an Iron Baby there," Jimmy said. "That is adorable."

"She is something else," Robert said.

"I know we're almost the same age, but is there any chance you would adopt me?" Jimmy asked the father of three. "Because I would love to be a part of the Downey Jr. family." After admitting he's a fan of the show, Robert said, "You just asked me to adopt you correct? OK."

After Robert's co-stars joined him on the couch, Jimmy asked if anyone had taken home a memento from the film's set. "I would not be doing that with Marvel," Emily said. "They know everything." Had she asked the right people, though, she could have walked away with some serious swag, as Robert did after filming wrapped on Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2014. "There was a massive Avengers 'A' which is outside the Avengers center. I have it. I said, 'Why is this in England? Send it back to L.A. I'll put it back in my office.' They said, 'Seriously?' I said, 'Yeah. I'll wait.' I'm supposed to share it," he told Jimmy. "It's supposed to move around like an exhibit."

Captain America: Civil War is in theaters May 6.
