The duo announced the big news on Jan. 21—the day the billionaire popped the question in the singer's hometown with a massive 35-karat ring.
Considering Mariah is a big fan of all things glam and Packer isn't lacking in the financial department, we're guessing this wedding is going to go above and beyond...starting with the dress, of course!
The "We Belong Together" songstress has already rocked two completely different dresses during her previous marriages: one over-the-top gown during her nuptials with Tommy Mottola and one simpler, more elegant dress when she said "I do" with Nick Cannon. Thus, we have quite a range to work with when guessing what she'll rock this time!
Here are our top predictions:
1. Mermaid Mariah: It's well known that the "Without You" singer is a big fan of any gown with a mermaid cut. She's often donned the style on red carpets throughout the years, so we wouldn't be surprised to see her in one on her wedding day. Not to mention, the fit is very popular among brides this year!
2. Diva Mariah: It's no secret that Mariah definitely likes the finer things in life! We could totally see her going all out for this wedding with a cupcake dress—like this one by famed designer Reem Acra—which would make her look like the queen she is!
3. Elegant Mariah: Many celebrities have sought out designs by Monique Lhuillier for their big day, and this dress just screams Mariah's name! The cut of the top would definitely do her chest justice (because we know she loves showing off some cleavage), while the mermaid flare at the bottom gives her that elegant, flattering touch the singer typically rocks.
4. Simple, Classic Mariah: We know Mariah and Packer have spent a majority of their relationship traveling to different places around the world. Thus, we wouldn't be surprised if they opted for a destination wedding, in which case a more casual yet elegant dress would be a good option for the singer. We love the simplicity of this one by Vera Wang!
