Let the record show: We are still mad.

Nastia Liukin should be in these finals and there's nothing you could say that would make us change our mind about that. However, regardless of what we think, we can't do anything to change reality and we're just going to have to accept the fact that we do not control television and focus on the good things, like Riker Lynch in a Jack Sparrow costume.

Tonight, the dancers redid some of their previous dances in an effort to get a higher score, and our hearts kind of leapt a little bit when we saw that Riker was revisiting his paso doble. Not only did he revisit it, but he smashed it totally out of the water and earned a perfect score and a coveted standing ovation from Len Goodman.

It was clear after that and Rumer Willis' equally perfect foxtrot that Noah Galloway, while talented and inspiring, is just not even close to being on the same level.

Now, when it came to Noah's freestyle, things got complicated, because that was where Noah shined brighter than he has this whole season. He can't really dance a paso or a foxtrot or a quickstep, but that does not mean he can't dance at all. When he's trying to tell a real story on that dancefloor, he can actually move. And dancing to a mashup of "Bulletproof" and "Fix You?" That was almost unfair in the emotions department.

Riker and Rumer also both killed it on the freestyle in completely different ways. Riker and Allison modernized some Fred Astaire and Rumer danced to herself singing and Val playing violin on "Toxic," and it was one of the hottest things we've ever seen. Everyone got a perfect score and everyone deserved it and if we could give them all trophies we would.

As for who actually deserves to win based on the entire season? We're honestly split between Riker and Rumer, though Rumer has perhaps worked harder and taken the competition more seriously than anyone else all season. As for who will win, America has been proven to vote based on more heart than actual skill. Any one of them could win, but we wouldn't be at all surprised if Rumer were the one to take home the mirror ball.

Here are tonight's scores:

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess: 32/40 + 40/40

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: 40/40 + 40/40

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy: 40/40 + 40/40
