Angelina Jolie is once again proving she's beautiful both inside and out.

The actress, a special envoy for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), was in Jordan on Tuesday to visit with Syrian refugees who have fled the civil war in their country and are currently residing in the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Mafraq.

Jolie, who hopes the trip will draw attention to the crisis, took a moment to thank Jordanian officials for all they are doing on behalf of the refugees.

"I am grateful to Jordan and the border countries for saving the lives (of those) are dying in Syria. It's an extraordinary thing," Jolie said while at the camp. "We encourage the international community to support the people here until one day they go back home."

Over the last 10 years, Jolie has traveled to various refugee camps around the globe on behalf of the UNHCR, including those in Iraq, Haiti, Syria and Pakistan.
