Looking at his former home in the Hollywood Hills, it's apparent that Heath Ledger liked his privacy.

A secluded, cozy-by-L.A.-standards house once owned by the late actor is on the market for $2.995 million, the second time it's been for sale since his death in January 2008. The property was snatched up that year by a private buyer.

But there's certainly nothing wrong with the bachelor pad on paper.

Dubbed "the Tree House" for its location in a sycamore grove perched on a hillside, the gated house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an office, soaring beamed ceilings, huge windows, concrete slab flooring, a covered porch and lots of room for entertaining outdoors.

If it strikes your fancy, there's also room to put in a pool, per Realtor.com.

Ledger split his time between L.A. and New York, at one point living in Brooklyn with then-partner Michelle Williams and their daughter Matilda.
