Who better to be the next Bachelorette than the Millionaire Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger?

The newly single Stanger thinks it's a good idea...

"Sure!" Stanger said when we asked her at  the Breakthrough of the Year Awards if she'd ever look for love on the ABC reality show. "I love the show. Tell ABC that's what they should do."

As you may have already heard, Stanger and her fiancé Andy Friedman have called it quits after a year-long engagement. Stanger says it's because Friedman no longer wanted to have kids.

But breakup schmakup! Stanger wore a Tiffany nameplate necklace to the awards show that reads "Love." "It's in honor of my breakup," she explained. "I believe in love. My mother's been married three times. When one ship sails there's always another."

Also at the awards last night—which were presented by Crest 3-D White and hosted by Chelsea Lately funnylady Heather McDonald—were honorees The Kids Are All Right's Josh Hutcherson, Sofia Vergara, Piranha 3D and Gossip Girl starlet Jessica Szohr, Dianna Agron, AnnaLynne McCord and producer Jason Blum, among others.
