E!Daniel Bryan officially announced his retirement from the WWE on Twitter Monday morning.
Brie Bella's husband, who had been on medical leave from the WWE since April 2015, told his followers, "Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude."
Before his announcement on Monday, the question of whether Daniel would return to wrestling was much talked about on Total Divas.
