INFphoto.com Naomi Campbell has spoken out that advertisers are using the recession as an excuse to drop black models. In a recent interview, she said that "I don't see any black women…in advertising campaigns." Earlier this year, in another interview, she said that she had to "…work harder to be treated equally…" I'm not sure if it's true that black women are having a more difficult time getting hired than white women right now, it's confusing due to the fact that Michelle Obama is in one of the most powerful positions. But, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's possible Naomi Campbell is having a harder time finding work because people are already having a rough time financially and don't want to add to their problems by getting punched in the face.
