Another summer brings another charter season full of champagne, caviar and tropic thunder. Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain (chief stew), Amy Johnson (second stew) and Eddie Lucas (bosun) return from last season, along with new crew members Don Abenante (second engineer/deckhand), Connie Arias (deckhand), Raquel "Rocky" Dakota (third stew), Emile Kotze (deckhand) and Leon Walker (chef) to make life aboard a 11 million dollar private, luxury yacht, an unforgettable experience for their guests. The crew quickly learns they must check their egos at the dock in order to provide first-class service to their wealthy and uncompromising charter guests. From elicit affairs, to crew member firings and technical failures on the yacht, the drama on the high seas becomes too much for some of them to handle. As tensions reach a boiling point between Kate and new chef Leon, Captain Lee calls on chef Ben Robinson for help.
Captain Lee: Born and raised in Saginaw Michigan, Harold Lee Rosbach is the second of seven children. While Capt. Lee has been in the industry for over 20 years, he started yachting a little later in life than your average "yachtie.? While living in the Turks and Caicos Islands managing a restaurant, Lee was attracted to the industry after serving as a mate on a sailboat delivery to earn some extra money.
Amy Johnson: Amy Johnson, 31, a southern belle known for her spirited attitude and enthusiastic personality, grew up in the small town of Wichita Falls, Texas. Amy graduated from Texas A&M with a business degree in Marketing and was recruited to the nation's top selling Cadillac dealership as a sales representative, where she remained for several years.
Connie Arias: Connie Arias, 28, was born in Long Island, New York, but considers Melbourne Beach, Florida home. Growing up in a sleepy beach town and living just eight houses away from the ocean, she had no choice but to become a water baby. Her life revolved around boating, surfing, and fishing and it is still that way today.
Don Abenante: Don Abenante, 28, grew up in the small town of Warren, Rhode Island with his parents and younger sister. Growing up, Don was very close with his father, a diesel mechanic; always working on projects together and even building a vintage boat when he was 10-years-old.
Emile Kotze: Born and raised in South Africa, Emile Kotze grew weary of the small-town life and left his country at 20-years-old with little to his name except a new skipper?s license and big dreams. He was always surrounded by the water?sailing trips on the weekend, cray fishing, and surfing?but never realized he could make a career of it.
Kate Chastain: During her eight year career as a stewardess, Kate Chastain was known for planning and executing lavish vacations aboard glamorous mega yachts with effortless, and sometimes creative, aplomb. Because saying "no" is never an option in the yachting industry, running the equivalent of a five star hotel in the middle of the ocean often required a little craftiness.
Chef Leon Walker: Chef Leon Walker grew up travelling all around the world and integrates the exquisite foods he has tasted along the way into his dining experiences. Of English and Jamaican decent, Leon?s father taught him his passion for cooking at a young age, and when he was 18-years-old he was given the opportunity to cook aboard the Queen Elizabeth on his first transatlantic voyage.
Raquel "Rocky" Dakota: Raquel, 26, was raised in a Californian aquatic circus. Daughter of two Eco-activists, her dad is a surgeon, and her mom is a pioneer and world champion surfer. Following in her parents wake, Rocky is an accomplished water woman, surfer, and a competitive national diver. She earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Hawaii, and graduated with a BA in U.S. History.
