Spy Game is a perfect date movie. No, there's not much cuddling in this intelligent action number, but it is full of cinematic treats for both sexes. There are guns and bombs and helicopters for the guys. And for the ladies, there's one of the silver screen's most memorable manwiches ever--Robert Redford and Brad Pitt, who play a veteran CIA agent and his protégé.
On Redford's last day at the agency, he discovers that Pitt has been captured in China while on a rogue mission. Redford has only 24 hours to steer him clear of present danger--and the agency ain't helping. Using a healthy mix of flashbacks and real-time segments, director Tony Scott (Ridley's action-lovin' brother) manages to tell a compelling and thorough tale of politics, espionage and loyalty, while remembering to give Redford a few great zingers along the way. And, yes, you even get to see Mr. Aniston with his shirt off.
