When you're an adult chaperoning children to a movie, you're just happy to see that what you've paid money for is perfectly appropriate for preschoolers. No sexy double-entendre dialogue, no hipper-than-thou cultural references. You want the wholesome Bill-Cosby-for-Jello-pudding of movies. Well, here's one. Naturally, it's about a ragtag team of anthropomorphic friends--a train, a snail, a cow, a rabbit and a dog--who have to save three magic jewels from an evil sorcerer.
If the sorcerer gets them all, he'll freeze the world and rule with complete dominion. This is unacceptable to our heroes, and they fight him every step of the way. The adventure leads them through icy mountain passes, lava pits and ancient temples of doom. Will they save the day? The answer lies in your age. For kids the ending will be a surprise, hinging on terrifically suspenseful moments. Adults will just wonder why everything looks so cheaply thrown together.
