TV Fan Personality: 3 Types

E! Networks/Comcast Entertainment Group

Chances are, you know your shoe size, astrological sign, Social Security number, skin type, bra size, blood type, age, bedpost notches, favorite ice cream flavor and favorite Flavor Flav moment.

But you don't know anything about yourself, my friend, until you know one soul-defining characteristic: your TV Fan Type!

What's that? You've never heard of your TFT? Well, allow me to guide you toward a whole new enlightened state of couch-hugging consciousness!

We, the TV Fan species, have deeply ingrained preferences that lead us to gravitate toward certain TV shows and away from others. If you love CSI, chances are, you hated Yes, Dear. If you love The Office, chances are, you hated Yes, Dear. Okay, so maybe that wasn't the best example, but what I'm trying to say is that most TV viewers have a well-defined TV palate toward a certain type of programming—Battlestar, not Bachelor; Arrested Development, not Cops—and knowing your TV Fan Type can be very useful in determining what to watch for the new season.

Sure, TV critics can drone on and on about which shows you'll love best, but the truth is no one knows you like you. That's why we've cooked up this little quiz to help you figure out your TFT.

Here's how it works: Take the test, write down your answers, get your result and then tune in to E! on Friday at 6 p.m. for my first-ever fall TV preview television special! We'll show you everything you need to know about the shows you should watch, depending on your very special, scientifically assigned TV type! It's magic, no?
