Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage.comJust heard from reliable sources that LL Cool J's drama series, The Man, was picked up today by CBS for midseason. This hourlong drama is notable not only because the ladies do love Mr. Cool J, but because it is the first piece of TV development from über-producer Anthony Zuiker since he started the CSI franchise.
The series, which has received a six-episode pickup according to sources, is about an undercover LAPD cop who enacts sting operations at night and raises three troubled, adopted children at home during the day.
So, hmmm...maybe like CHiPs meets Mrs. Doubtfire? Dare we dream?
