Watch: Sundance Head Dishes on Winning "The Voice"

Shocked that Sundance Head won The Voice? He is too.

"I actually was very shocked, because the whole time, even myself, I predicted Billy [Gilman] to win," the 37 year-old "soul country" singer tells E! News' Erin Lim in the video above. "I really wanted Wé [McDonald] to win. I voted for her ten times."

Head, who was on Team Blake, was named the winner of season 11 during last night's two hour finale, beating Team Adam's Billy Gilman and Josh Gallagher and Team Alicia's Wé McDonald for the title. Listening to his single, "Darlin' Don't Go," which was inspired by and written with help from his wife, it's not hard to see why people fell in love with him.

Even Head's coach, Blake Shelton, didn't bet on his team member in order not to jinx the possibility.

"That's kind of a weird way to do it, but I guess it worked!" Head says. "He's very sweet, you know. He's a very nice guy. [...] You see him on TV and you think, he can't really be that cool and that nice, and you meet him in person and it's like Nickelodeon all day."

Head would also be totally willing to sing at the wedding if Blake and Gwen Stefani ever have one, and has other ideas for the couple, too.

"I already told Blake it's cool if he wants to name his kid Sundance," he says. "It's a great name."

Check out the video above to hear more about what's to come for Sundance, including potential collaborations on his album!

The Voice returns in February on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBC Universal family.)
