This Is Us has a unique power to make audiences cry week after week with heartbreaking and heartwarming family scenes, but that power to bring on the tears now extends to simple photos of the cast. Mandy Moore, Rebecca Pearson, the matriarch of This Is Us, posted the below photo of her TV kids with her TV husband Milo Ventimiglia.

"Double the trouble. On set with almost all of the children. #thisisus," she captioned the picture on Instagram featuring the child and teen versions of Kevin, Kate and Randall. But who are those kids she's missing? The adult versions of Kevin, Kate and Randall played by Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown. A moment of silence to "awww" over Moore including the adult actors as her kids.

How about that casting? Spitting images.

Ventimiglia retweeted Moore's photo and added, "Missing the bookends of @sterlingkb1 @justinhartley @ChrissyMetz & the babies then it'd be the complete Pearson family @TheMandyMoore!! MV" He also added his own version, the one up top of this story.

Not up on This Is Us? The critically acclaimed NBC drama tells the story of the Pearson family, each episode telling a story from the past and the present. The fall finale ended on a cliffhanger. Spoilers!

Viewers learned William (Ron Cephas Jones) has a male lover (played by American Horror Story's Denis O'Hare) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) surprised Kate for Christmas…but suffered a heart attack after the big family celebration. His fate is up in the air.

"I think in telling a good story there has to be ups and downs with any character, and you can't just have everything go swimmingly and you can't just have characters who are supposed to be in a romantic relationship just getting into an argument every episode," Sullivan told E! News. "There has to be other tension and things introduced. But I don't know if we knew they were going to go this big this soon!"

This Is Us returns with new episodes on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
