Remain calm music fans, but Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik just delivered one sweet holiday present.

On Thursday evening, the "Shake It Off" singer revealed some big news to her followers. As it turns out, Taylor has been working on a new song with Zayn for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

Titled "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," the new song is currently available on iTunes. And for those without access, Taylor delivered a sneak peek in a separate Instagram post.

Zayn would also help share the good news with a picture of himself holding one of Taylor's cats with the caption, "#idontwannaliveforever."

As soon as the news broke, fans of all ages took to the Internet to express their excitement. Taylor's close friend Lena Dunham also revealed some behind-the-scenes details about the track.

"Holy motherf--king s--t!!! My boyfriend [Jack Antonoff] is a genius and he wrote the new single from Fifty Shades Darker with Sam Dew and my girl @taylorswift (who has never sounded more sultry)" she wrote on social media. "And then there's @zayn blowing up my whole heart. SO. DAMN. PROUD of @jackantonoff. On iTunes now I just bought itttttttt."

Zayn's girlfriend Gigi Hadid also confirmed she was a proud owner of the new single as she shared a photo on her Twitter account.

While Taylor hasn't released any of her own songs since the launch of her hugely successful album 1989 in October 2014, the singer's songwriting skills were recently showcased on Little Big Town's new single "Better Man."

For those intrigued by the Fifty Shades Darker movie, you likely already know that Miguel is also expected to be on the film's soundtrack.

In a trailer released earlier in the week, the singer covered "Crazy in Love" by Beyoncé as Hollywood stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan turned up the heat in more ways than one.

And if the last film was any indication, if you're featured on the soundtrack, your song is bound to be a hit. Does Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" ring a bell?
