Mick Jagger is a dad again!
The 73-year-old British Rolling Stones frontman has welcomed his eighth child. His American girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, a 30-year-old professional ballet dancer, gave birth to the couple's first baby together Thursday.
"Melanie Hamrick & Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted," the singer's rep told E! News. "Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time."
The name of the couple's baby was not revealed.
Jagger and Hamrick reportedly began their relationship in 2014 and have kept it private. His rep announced the ballerina's pregnancy in July.
The rocker has seven other children, four daughters and three sons ages 18 to 47, with four exes. He also has five grandchildren.
Jagger and Hamrick's newborn son is already a great-uncle; Jagger became a great-grandfather in 2014 when granddaughter Assisi Jackson gave birth to a baby girl.
Jagger's band mate Ronnie Wood, 69, is also a new dad again; He and wife Sally Humphreys, 38, welcomed twin daughters in May. The musician has four other children from previous relationships, as well as six grandchildren.
