First Laurie Hernandez claimed the gold. Then she scored the mirrorball trophy. Now... a recording contract?

America's favorite human emoji is fresh off her Dancing with the Stars win with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, but now that she's conquered the ballroom, is she also ready to take hold of a mic and show off her singing skills?

E! News' Maria Menounos caught up with the 16-year-old Olympic gymnast on the red carpet before the Hollywood premiere of Sing, a new animated movie featuring animals going for their dreams in an American Idol-esque singing competition. When asked if she would ever put her vocal skills up to the test, Hernandez told us she isn't completely ruling the option out.

"For fun, maybe," she admitted. "I sing for fun with my brother, because he likes to play guitar. But besides that, I don't sing… I'm just gonna stick to gymnastics and dancing."

We may not see Hernandez on The Voice anytime soon, but you could catch her in a much more low-stakes situation doing karaoke. And her go-to song? "Anything Tori Kelly," she revealed.

This should come as no surprise to the gold medallist's fans, since Hernandez has made it no secret she's a huge fangirl of the "Should've Been Us" singer. See: the moment she met Kelly for the first time and legitimately ran away from her music idol overcome with excitement and shock.

In fact, Hernandez was at the Sing premiere to support Kelly, who makes her major movie debut as the voice of Meena the elephant. She also stars alongside Welsh dreamboat Taron Egerton and Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane, who also revealed to E! News whether they would compete in a singing contest like their onscreen personas.

Sing is in theaters on Dec. 21. (E! News and Universal Pictures are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
