OK, no he didn't actually run into Taylor Swift, but he definitely had to face something perhaps just as uncomfortable.
The actor was photographed on Sunday jogging in London when he happened to pass a piece of T.Swift graffiti art with a message directed at him. It showed the singer talking on the phone with a speech bubble that read, "Oh Tom...I love you too...But..."
The artwork, created by artist Fussy Human, seems to depict the moment Swift broke up with Hiddleston following their whirlwind romance over the summer.
Hiddleston either didn't seem to notice the graffiti, or he simply decided to ignore it. Nonetheless, the photo gave us all the giggles.
Meanwhile, Hiddleswift first became a thing in June of this year after being photographed canoodling in Rhode Island.
They took their love all over the world in the couple months following the news of their romance, but ended up calling it quits in September. At the time, a source told E! News Swift felt Hiddleston was using her for more fame.
"Taylor felt he wanted to take the relationship to be too public," the insider revealed. Though the split as amicable, we're told, "She was not happy about it and thought it was too much publicity."
Swift has remained single since their breakup, but she's definitely been channeling her lessons from the relationship into her music.
We're told the songstress has been hitting the studio and working on new music, which stems from her breakups with both Hiddleston and Calvin Harris this year.
Needless to say, we can't wait to hear what comes next from T.Swift!
