And more than nine years after the track appeared on the album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, fans can't help but still turn up the volume and belt out the lyrics regardless of who is around.
There is one question, however, that some Smilers can't help but ask themselves: How is Miley's best friend Lesley doing today?
In honor of Pop Icons Week, we decided to check in on childhood bestie Lesley Patterson. As it turns out, she's just being, well, Lesley.
According to Instagram, the Nashville resident still has a huge love for music and can often be found attending concerts such as Kanye West and Justin Bieber.
She also has a love for sports as she attends Carolina Panthers football games and Oklahoma Thunder basketball games.
While Miley is happily engaged to Liam Hemsworth, Lesley appears to adore a man named Michael Becker.
And while she doesn't have any selfies with Miley posted, we can't help but believe that her childhood friend will always have a special place in her heart. After all, she has experienced the highs and lows of fame.
"Is this what being catfished means?!!" she wrote on Instagram eight months ago when a fake profile was set up using her photos. "And blessed to know she works for Burger King. This is awkward."
