Chris Lambton and his wife Peyton Wright Lambton have welcomed their first child into the world just days before Thanksgiving.
"Happy to announce the addition to our family Lyla James," Chris shared on Instagram Tuesday afternoon. "Baby and mom are both doing great! #BabyLambton @peytonwlambton #imadad."
The Hollywood couple is already proud parents to a three-year-old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Summit.
Just last month, Peyton opened up about her journey to motherhood in a candid blog. At the time, she couldn't help but express her excitement at expanding the family.
"Throughout this pregnancy, I have experienced all kinds of emotions, both physical and mental. It has been quite a roller coaster!" she shared with People. "When I first found out I was pregnant, I was excited and also relieved because we had been through so much to get to this point."
She added, "Shortly after the high of the positive came some pretty intense fear...Thankfully, I have had nine months to really explore these fears and to talk through them with my husband. Women have been doing this for centuries, and I knew we would figure it all out."
Fans may know Chris from when he competed on Ali Fedotowsky's season of The Bachelorette in 2010. As for Peyton, she competed on Andy Baldwin's season of The Bachelor in 2007. While they never received final roses, they would ultimately meet through mutual pals and say "I Do."
Together, the couple has starred together in HGTV's My New Old House while Chris also hosts Yard Crashers on the DIY Network.
