When it comes to Gilmore Girls, it seems the entire world is tuned in—well, except for this writer.
As a generation of fans sat glued to the franchise's newly released A Day in the Life Netflix trailer Tuesday, a far smaller margin remained clueless to the bond between Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, myself included.
For the select few who are unfamiliar with the inner workings of Stars Hollow, the revival's trailer unfolded like an exciting punch line without hearing the joke.
Thanks to the handy series description, we do know that both main women are at a "crossroads." For Rory, that means a journalism career at a standstill. For Lorelai, that means trouble in paradise for her and a guy named Luke. For Grandma Emily, that means the death of her husband and resuming life as a single woman.
As Gilmore Girls newcomers anxiously fire up episode one and try to catch up before the November release, here are a few questions to answer in the process.
