Musicians have been throwing shade at "Perfect Illusion"

Lady Gaga doesn't care what other musicians think about Joanne and her latest singles.

The "Bad Romance" songstress has been responding to critics on Twitter who have said they don't like what they're hearing, making it perfectly clear that she gives zero f--ks about what anyone has to say. First, Lady Gaga went after The Chainsmokers.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the duo said they didn't like Gaga's "Perfect Illusion." They also went on to "like" some tweets that said they were out-selling Gaga, which was enough to have the singer clap back on social media.

Perhaps Gaga and The Chainsmokers are burying the hatchet, but the same can't be said for Gaga and The Black Keys' Patrick Carney. During his "High Standards Music Corner" on Vice News Tonight, Carney insulted "Perfect Illusion" and its guitar riffs.

"First of all, I hate guitars that sound like that!" Carney said. "I'm lost because the guitar at the top of it sounds so s--tty. It's like 'Eye Of The Tiger,' but not even nearly as good as that. It sounds like Hulk Hogan is playing the f--king guitar."

Carney eventually conceded that Gaga's track is growing on him. "It's growing on me, I've heard it now. This is the thing about music—the more you hear it, the more you like it," Carney added.

Gaga and Joanne producer Mark Ronson weren't having any of it, and Ronson turned to Twitter to recall a time Carney said diamond-certified "Uptown Funk" "wouldn't work." Gaga responded to the tweet with some shade directed at Carney.

Carney responded to both Gaga and Ronson with a video of Hogan playing the guitar.

"To be clear @ladygaga @MarkRonson I just said the guitar at the top sounds like Hogan," Carney tweeted. "Lighten up and listen up."
