Ocean's Eight might have just rounded out their roster of leading ladies.

A source confirms to E! News that Sarah Paulson is in talks to star in the all-female Ocean's Eleven reboot. If cast, the American Horror Story star would join an all-star league of actresses that includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and hip hop artist Awkwafina

Ocean's 8, as the spinoff is to be called, has yet to announce any plot details, but we can confirm that Warner Brothers set an October start date for filming.

Fingers crossed Paulson secures the deal, but if she doesn't end up joining, we've rounded up five equally as badass actresses who would totally fit the bill and hold their own up against the impressive cast.

Laverne Cox: Let Laverne Cox be great. Let Laverne Cox make her first major motion picture debut in a starring role with Ocean's 8

The Emmy nominee has already proven herself as a multi-faceted actress with comedic wit and dramatic prowess on Orange Is the New Black, and she'd bring an edge unmatched by any of the cast's other members.

Yes, Laverne will be busy on October 20 when she stars as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in Fox's live television adaptation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but maybe director Gary Ross can make an exception. Because let us remind you that it's Laverne Cox we're discussing. Starting a petition to get her signed on to the project right about... now.

Emma Watson: Another powerhouse actress that needs no introduction is none other than Watson.

She captured our hearts in the Harry Potter franchise, and then again with her fight for gender equality as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations, but it's been a minute since we've seen the 26-year-old on the silver screen.

In February, Watson announced she was stepping away from acting for some time to focus on "personal development," but this might be the perfect role for Emma to dive back into once she's good and ready.

A group of women kicking ass and taking names? Sounds like Emma's perfect cup of tea.

Viola Davis: This casting is basically a no-brainer. Davis made history as the first African-American woman to win the Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her role as tough-as-nails defense attorney Annalise Keating.

And the actress most recently starred in the highly-anticipated anti-heroes flick Suicide Squad, and judging from the critic's remarkably negative reviews, Viola might be looking for another squad to redeem herself with.

Let the ladies of Ocean's 8 be that squad. It's the least Warner Bros. Pictures could do.

Elizabeth Olsen: In case you missed it, Olsen knows a thing or two about holding her own when it comes to standing out amid spotlight-stealing women.

The Avengers star is the younger sister of Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, yet she's still managed to make a name for herself as one of Hollywood's most coveted up-and-coming actresses. That's no easy feat for someone who grew up alongside two of the most successful former child stars in the industry.

Not to mention her acting chops, which were met with rave reviews when she starred opposite Tom Hiddleston in 2015's I Saw the Light.

Alicia Vikander: Last, but certainly not least, is the 27-year-old Oscar winner.

Alicia was arguably the breakout star of the 2016 awards season, with multiple nominations and wins for her roles in The Danish Girl and Ex Machina, so why not continue the trend with Ocean's 8?!

Vikander is also more than equipped with the skills vital when it comes to mastering of the reboot. She was cast to take on Angelina Jolie's famed role as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reprisal due in theaters in 2018. Signed, sealed, delivered—Alicia's yours.

Deadline was first to report the news.
