There are two focuses of Kanye West's new music video—fashion and Kim Kardashian

Doubling as the official campaign video for Balmain's Fall/Winter 2016 collection, the brand's creative director Olivier Rousteing and the Grammy winner collaborated to fuse song and style into one seven minute clip for "Wolves"—one of the tracks on his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo.

Packed with modern glamour and fashion's most celebrated faces, the video features cameos from models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Cindy Crawford and Joan Smalls as well as the song's featured singers, pop star Sia and rapper Frank Ocean, all donning head-to-toe couture from the fashion house.

While the image of a tearful West stuns fans minutes into the clip, a doll-like Kim Kardashian soon steals the spotlight as the bevy of well-dressed beauties suddenly can't keep their hands off of her, touching and grabbing all over her face and body.

If the outfits seem familiar, they certainly are. West and Kardashian both donned the same metallic ensembles on the red carpet of this year's Met Gala in May.

"It was shot right after the Met Ball," Rousting said in a statement. According to a source, the video was filmed in New York City the day after the Kardashians returned from their trip to Cuba.

"Pascal [Dangin], Steven [Klein] and I pulled together as many members of the 'Balmain Army' who were in town and we spent two days creating a true collaboration—beginning with a riff on a Balmain after-party, and mixing dance, music, lyrics, photography and fashion in a new way that reflects the unique, diverse and modern side of this historic house. I couldn't be happier with the result—or more grateful to all who played a part in its creation," the designer added.

"When I saw Kanye singing, Kim moving, the models walking and crying, the tears on Kanye, the tears on Kim—I was just like, 'Wow,'" he continued to Vogue. "It's an interesting collaboration every time that we work together, I mean, it's just incredible."

As for the couple, who previously starred together in the music video for West's 2013 "Bound 2," a source tell E! News shooting the project was an "intense experience."
