Mila Kunis has never been one to sugarcoat the truth.

Case in point? The actress' experience as a mother—first to 21-month-old daughter Wyatt and now with baby No. 2 here—has shed light on quite a few aspects of raising child that many celeb moms rarely bring to light.

Ashton Kutcher's leading lady has traded talk about chic diaper bags and non-toxic baby products for the down and dirty reality of what it's like actually like to balance the pressures of maintaining a successful career simultaneously with parenthood (Hint: Kunis confirms there is no balance).

The Bad Moms star's many refreshingly candid quotes on life as a mama is officially the impromptu guidebook to becoming a parent we didn't know we needed. You're welcome!

On being shamed for breastfeeding in public: "It didn't matter to me what other people thought," Kunis most recently admitted to Vanity Fair. "That's what I chose to do, but I think it's unfortunate that people are so hard on women who choose to do it and do it in public. In the States and in our culture, we sexualize the breast so much that there's an aspect of it that people just don't know how to wrap their head around the idea of showing your breast in public. But I respect the opinions on both sides. If it's not for you, don't look.

On asking for help: I think before my parents were raising my brother and I, everything had to go perfectly. Nowadays, if s--t's going wrong and I call my best friend and I'm like, 'I don't know, this color is coming out of her nose and I'm pretty sure she's dying.' And it's okay to do that now, but I don't know if it necessarily was okay before," the 32-year-old mused to PopSugar

On learning about kids: "Children are f---ing crazy," she joked to Glamour. "They're also suicidal. Like, at the park, certain jungle gyms have an opening for older kids to jump out of. She's 19 months; she can't jump. She just walks off it as if she's on a pirate ship."

On adapting to changes: "Everything is different," the proud mama told Business Insider. "From the fact that you're so happy when you get six hours of sleep to the idea of being responsible for this incredible, living breathing little human being that you can't believe is yours."

On maintaining a healthy perspective: "There's no such thing as balance," she told E! News at the premiere of Bad Moms. "It doesn't exist."

On her second round of pregnancy: "With the first one, I was on the app every day, like, "The other day, someone asked how far along I was," Kunis said on Live! With Kelly. "I was like, 'I have no idea. I can tell you when I'm due, and then do the math afterward.' For the first one, I could tell you precisely what she was developing, what stage it was. The second one, I'm running after a toddler, or working, so I'm like, 'Oh, that's right: I'm pregnant.'"

On shifting her aspirations: During a Reddit AMA, Kunis explained, "It is the most life-changing experience you can have, in my opinion. Everything changed. I am proud to be a stay-at-home mom. I have no desire to be in front of the camera. I find her to be the most challenging job I've had."

On wardrobe choices: "Having a baby and breastfeeding, nothing fits in these dresses anymore," Mila revealed to E! News

On letting go of the little things: "Another important thing to learn is that kids have a personality that has nothing to do with you. I have a really sweet daughter. She wants to hug all the other kids. I didn't teach her to be sweet. It has nothing to do with me. I've realized you can control only so much," she dished to Glamour.

On moms sticking together: "It's the competitive energy that is so destructive," the That 70s Show alum made clear to PopSugar. "You only are a mommy in this way for such a brief amount of time anyway that you don't wanna look back and be like, 'Why did I care about that stupid nonsense?'"

On going back to work: "I have to be honest because I was with [Wyatt] every day for the first four months, every day of her little life. I cried. I did. It's weird. It's very strange. If anyone's a mom, and being a stay-at-home mom, it's a very weird feeling to all of a sudden leave your child," she told Jimmy Kimmel

On bonding with her little one: "I love the fact that the first three months, she and I were up every night," she says. "I figured her out and she figured me out and she now sleeps in her own crib in her own room. I will never have that time again so, for me, it was a really nice three months," she explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On making sacrifices: "When you do a film, you work, on average, 15- to 17-hour days. That's my baby's entire day that I'm missing, from before wakeup to after bedtime," Mila said during a Today show appearance. "Every morning I'm like, 'Hi, baby!' and she's like running around in the living room."

On giving birth: "Two people are allowed in my delivery room: my doctor and my significant other. And [Kutcher] is staying above the action. He'll be head to head. Not head to vag. Unless he wants to risk his life and see. But I wouldn't if I were him." Kunis graphically added to Marie Claire, "I highly doubt he wants to see that being ripped apart and shredded. Because it will be shredded. It's just a matter of how badly."

On accepting her children:  "If she murdered somebody in cold blood, I would love her. I would be like, ‘That's okay.' It's so weird, but when she was born, I was like, ‘This is the most incredible thing that's ever happened,'" Mila joked to Ellen DeGeneres.
