Blake Lively's latest Instagram is super normal and all the more refreshing.

The pregnant 28-year-old actress made an appearance at the launch for Target's Cat and Jack clothing line in New York on Thursday night. She looked gorgeous on the red carpet, rocking a floral midi-dress over her baby bump with a pair of sandal heels. Although we adored the look, she wasn't afraid to admit that she couldn't wait to get out of it after the event.

Blake took to Instagram to get real about her life beyond the red carpet—which consists of tennis shoes and milkshakes—proving that stars' worlds aren't as glamorous as we might think.

She captioned the pic, "Milkshake: check. Comfortable shoes: check. Having a slit in your dress to make you feel better about the aforementioned: check."

Of course, the post is just silly and cute, but while seemingly meaningless as you scroll through your Instagram feed, it's actually the exact opposite.

In a world that's so encompassed by social media, fancy filters and face-tuning, we've come to believe that these highlight reels are real life...when really, real life is just a pair of Converse sneakers and a loose-fitting dress that allows us to drink our milkshake late at night.

It's nice to see Blake share something that's more relatable than selfies taken by fancy phone cases after five people have touched up her face. It feels good to know that she didn't emerge from the womb wearing 6-inch stilettos—reminding us that, through all the #OOTD and #Style posts featuring the rich and the famous in thousand-dollar outfits, everyone is in the same boat about one thing: there's nothing better than taking your shoes off at the end of the day.

But most importantly, we love that she's reminding everyone that she's a real human. Nothing about that post was sponsored or planned or plotted for comments and likes—she didn't even fix her red eye! Rather, she took a moment to connect with her fans and followers on a real level and prove she doesn't sleep and breath and eat glittered perfection every second of every day. She's not perfect and neither are any of those other celebrities and Instagram-famous people with millions of followers and likes—they just don't show that part in their social media highlight reels.

So the next time you find yourself feeling a little envious about someone's flawless selfie, remember: they'd rather be drinking milkshakes and rocking tennis shoes just like you!
