How annoying...

Lady Gaga, 30, was driving her red Ford F-150 SVT Lightning pickup truck on a highway in Malibu, California Friday and got pulled over, about two weeks after she obtained her first driver's license. The singer says she did nothing wrong and it is unclear if she was issued a ticket.

"Ya I got pulled over. Big deal! I just haven't received plates yet for my new pick up!" she tweeted Saturday night.

In California, brand-new vehicles and some newly purchased used vehicles do not come with license plates; They are sent in the mail weeks later. Until they arrive, the cars' new owners must drive with a temporary permit with the vehicle's VIN number and other ownership information. Some drivers end up getting pulled over before they receive their permanent plates.

The singer had previously driven with a learner's permit and has been seen behind the wheel of several vehicles over the years.

After Lady Gaga tweeted about getting pulled over, a fan asked her, "I wonder why Gaga's blue car was towed then? Because I'm sure that has plates."

"My transmission was leaking! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯," she replied.
