It seems all parents are created equal when it comes to texting.
Emma Roberts appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers Monday and shared some classic texts from her mom, who just so happens to be using a flip phone to get in touch with her daughter. Already using an archaic piece of technology to communicate with Emma, her mom proves to be even more hilarious by failing to text clearly and signing every single text with her name—as if the Nerve star didn't know whom it was LOL.
Of course, Emma isn't the first celebrity to share hilarious texts from her parents. Here are five more stars whose parents are just as incidentally hilarious as all of ours.
1. Olivia Munn: Earlier this year Munn quashed engagement rumors when she shared a text message conversation with her mom, who had heard the (fake) news from the Internet, on Instagram. "Oh man you engagement?? You know we love Aaron. I pray say thanks for him all the times. I bet Chance happy. Hey why don't you tell me first?"
2. Reese Witherspoon: Before the 2015 Oscars, Witherspoon's mom couldn't stop texting her nominated daughter about her plans for an Oscars party that evening. Each text she sent, whether it was discussing Whole Foods or the nominees, ended with "[heart emoji] mom."
3. Miranda Cosgrove: The School of Rock alum shared a text from her mom that revealed everyone is in the same struggle boat. "I help everyone but no one will help me!" her mom wrote.
4. Keeping up with Kris Jenner: The momager shared a snippet of her text chain with her kids, and let's just say Kris might have had the most normal of all the responses!
5. Ireland Baldwin: Alec Baldwin's daughter shared a funny exchange with her dad who poked fun at her for a report about an alleged new boyfriend. Although it turned out she had just met the man, she couldn't help but post the texts from her father, who was being such a dad.
