Just a few days after E! News confirmed that Lea Michele and Robert Buckley broke up after two months of dating, the Glee star decided to hit the road for some quality time with her girlfriends.
As documented on Instagram, Lea traveled with longtime friend Stephanie Levinson where they were able to celebrate good food, fitness and friendship.
"Weekend getaway starts now!" the actress wrote on social media. "@stephaniehartlevinson I love you so much.. I couldn't be happier to be with you today on your birthday.. Here's to another 8 years of friendship!"
Whether enjoying an eight-mile hike in her Fabletics gear or drinking some wine at dinner, Lea appeared to be in great spirits as she took a break from filming Scream Queens.
Things got even more fun when she traveled to Rob Lowe's house for some fun in the great outdoors.
"The fab @msleamichele taking over my backyard swing. #Sunday #Gleeful" the actor shared on Instagram with video of his guest. Lea added, "Family photo at the Lowe's #PerfectSunday #ThisIsTheLife."
As the summer months continue, Lea has a lot of exciting projects on the horizon. In addition to her role as Hester Ulrich in Scream Queens, the actress continues to work in the studio where she can showcase her love for music.
"She is working on new music and has an album coming out that she is really trying hard to concentrate all her time on," a source recently shared with us.
After all, some of us still miss seeing Rachel Berry on our small screens. Safe travels home, Lea.
