Adele's world tour has absolutely no shortage of excitement. Throughout the European leg of her tour, couples got engaged, people kissed, jokes were made and, of course, songs were sung. It seemed as if Adele couldn't possibly top all the events of the European leg, but now that she has finally made it to America, it appears she is going to give it her all.

The "Hello" songstress kicked off the American stretch in St. Paul, Minnesota, Tuesday evening, one day after the U.S. celebrated the Fourth of July. "I can't believe how loud you are!" she said onstage, shortly before referencing the country's holiday. "You must all still be drunk from last night!"

During her concert, which was attended by some 15,000 people, Adele opened up about her experiences thus far in the states. Like many who are relatively new to parts of the U.S., the "Someone Like You" singer became overwhelmed by some of the tourist attractions. "I have never seen anything like it," she remarked about the Mall of America, per Entertainment Weekly. "I mean, I know you in America do everything bigger and better but there is an amusement park in there!"

While visiting the Twin Cities, Adele also went to a local parade and ate fried chicken on a donut. Why have fried chicken and waffles if you can try fried chicken on a donut?! Talk about keeping it creative.

The Grammy winner also joked about her "miserable" romantic past that inspired her previous album, and added now she's waiting for longtime boyfriend Simon Konecki to propose.

"One magazine here says that I had a secret wedding," she said, "but I haven't. I'd tell you—I wouldn't be able to contain myself."

Adele and Konecki have one son together, Angelo Konecki, so why haven't they gotten married? "I'm very busy, as you can see," she shared, before letting out this comment with a huge laugh: "And Simon hasn't proposed yet!"
