Lindsay Lohan isn't concerned about turning 30 in just a few days. In fact, the actress has a lot to look forward to in the next chapter of her life, including a book!

Yes, the Mean Girls star opened up to Vanity Fair about reaching the milestone age and why she's exciting to do so, dishing details about her new projects.

"I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles," she explained. "I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place."

Acknowledging the struggles she's had to overcome to get to this point, she continued, "I am grateful that I have a voice, which I can now feel comfortable using as a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side."

Other than her book, Lilo is finding joy in many other things: meditation, traveling, falling in love (with her boyfriend and rumored fiancé, Egor Tarabasov) and spending time with her family. In fact, she'll ring in the big 3-0 with her closesT friends and family members in Greece this weekend.

But most importantly, Lindsay is happy to see herself continue to grow and evolve. She said she's most proud of "being strong and allowing myself to accept my faults, and with that, being the person I am today."

Just last week we also found out that the red-headed beauty is planning to record another album again, too.

During a video chat with some fans, she revealed,  "I have to record another album for Universal/Motown, and I will."

However, she's waiting to do so because her sister is also in the process of working on some music, and Lilo wants to "stay in her lane."  She joked, "As much as I want to sing every day, I don't want my sister to hate me!"
