INFphoto.comBy now we know Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have made their way from the English countryside to Rome, where they have been taking in the sights, strolling hand-in-hand and undoubtedly have continued their European PDA tour.
There's no denying the swiftness (pun intended) of this relationship, as a source previously told E! News that she has already "texted her close friends and said, 'I think I am in love and I never felt this way before!'" Perhaps it's the European winds or Roman sun, but something about this trip to Rome has this romance heating up.
So, what is it that they're up to in Italy? Here is everything we know about their trip:
After taking a private jet to Rome, Taylor and Tom were whisked away to the Hotel de Roussie in the central area of the city where they're staying in the penthouse. Upon arriving, the couple ventured out to the Coliseum, where they were spotted "cuddling and kissing while soaking in the history pertaining to the ancient Roman monument," a source tells us. Their private tour lasted about 45 minutes.
"Taylor and Tom are smitten and look completely in love," another insider shares with us. "They walked up to an outdoor terrace where they embraced and spent several minutes kissing. Taylor held Tom close and then he threw his head back with laughter after kissing her."
Nothing says love like the Italian air and a visit to an ancient site!
"The two were very romantic, holding hands throughout their stroll around the Coliseum. They looked very much in love," an onlooker tells E! News. "She was wearing a pretty yellow sundress. It looked almost vintage, Audrey Hepburn-style with spaghetti straps. He looked dapper in a white shirt and dark trousers...They kissed when they were inside the Coliseum. It was so romantic."
The eyewitness continues, "They took snaps of each other, they chatted and were very taken by each other. It was as if no one else was there yet there were loads of fans and passersby surrounding them."
That evening Taylor and Tom enjoyed an intimate garden dinner at their hotel. A source tells us that they started off with some aperitifs and particularly enjoyed the olive oil they were brought to taste. Throughout the meal the Thor actor would take T. Swift's hand and kissed it. Afterwards they two hit the streets of Rome to go on a romantic stroll around the "starlit" city.
On Tuesday, the "Style" singer and her actor beau continued sightseeing. "They took a private helicopter ride over Rome so they could see the sights from above," an insider tells us. The couple flew over St Peter's Basilica and Vatican City. "It was very romantic and special," an insider tells us. "They held hands the entire time and enjoyed the beautiful views from above."
