This is one of the very few times Jay Leno isn't giving us car envy.
While filming for an episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the comedian and car collector got into a car accident while on a test ride in a Hemi Under Glass with stunt driver Bob Riggle. Fortunately, both men were uninjured in the crash, but as you can see in the clip above, it was certainly a harrowing ordeal for the both of them.
Riggle lost control of the car shortly after Leno could be heard saying, "2,500 horsepower on two wheels. What could go wrong?"
It wasn't long before the men experienced firsthand what could (and did) go wrong with the stunt. Leno initially seemed shaken by the ordeal, but after establishing that but he and Riggle were OK, he was already back to joking around.
Per CNBC, riding in a stunt car with Riggle has been on Leno's bucket list since he was a kid. It seems the experience was well worth any temporary trauma, too. When exiting the car, Leno said with a smile, "Oh yeah, I'm fine. It doesn't get any more exciting than that."
Jay Leno's Garage airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CNBC.
(E! and CNBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
