Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's Restraining Order Court Hearing Postponed

Actress is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings against the actor

Less than 24 hours before Amber Heard was planning to go to court for a hearing her restraining order hearing against Johnny Depp, E! News can confirm that a judge has postponed tomorrow morning's hearing.

A conference has been set for a later date, as well as two future court dates in mid-August.

And while there have been reports that Amber has been avoiding giving a deposition with her ex's lawyers, a source tells us that the allegations "are untrue."

In fact, our insider insists that "she wants to go to court" but that both times Johnny's attorneys have requested to depose Amber they didn't "follow the appropriate court protocol."

Our source added that it was Depp's attorney, Laura Wasser's "request to continue the domestic violence restraining order hearing. Wasser gets one request for a continuance and she requested it so therefore the hearing will be continued postponed. The Temporary Restraining Order has been reissued and will remain in place" until the next court hearing.

Earlier this week, E! News confirmed that the 30-year-old actress retracted her request for initial request for temporary spousal support.

When she filed for divorce, she had requested $50,000 per month, but a judge denied the request after granting her a temporary restraining order.

According to documents obtained by E! News, Amber says that she asked for more because she thought that it was standard procedure in a divorce case.

In the court paperwork, Amber claims that the request is being "used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence."

The document also noted, "In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby withdrawing the request…for spousal support."

The file makes clear, however, that the Magic Mike star can request spousal support again in the future as the case proceeds.

So far, neither side has publicly reacted to the news of tomorrow's hearing being postponed.
